Event Description
We are delighted to announce that the European Cryogenic Days 2026 will be held in Grenoble, France, from 12-15 October 2026.
As experienced in the previous editions, the European Cryogenic Days 2026 will bring together researchers, engineers and industry professionals from across Europe and beyond to engage knowledge sharing and networking in cryogenic applications such as Big Science, Fusion, Space, Superconductivity, Hydrogen and Quantum.
The program will alternate keynote lectures, technical oral and poster sessions, exhibitions and social events. In complement, technical courses and visits of leading R&D laboratories and industries will be proposed.
This year, the event is organized by the Département des Systèmes Basses Températures (DSBT, a CEA-UGA Research Laboratory), in collaboration with other Grenoble institutions and industries, and supported by the Cryogenic Society of Europe (CSE) and the Association Française du Froid – Commission Cryogénie et Supraconductivité (AFF-CCS). The 2026 General Meeting of the CSE is planned as a satellite meeting of the ECD-2026 on Tuesday, 13 October 2026.
The Call for abstract, exhibitions, sponsors and registration will be open on 9 February 2026.
