Event Description
The 5th International Workshop on Cooling System for HTS Applications (IWC-HTS 2026) will be held from October 26-29, 2026 in Enschede, The Netherlands.
IWC-HTS 2026 is an international technical workshop dedicated to high-temperature superconducting (HTS) systems and applications, with a strong emphasis on the cryogenic, thermal, and system-level challenges that govern their performance, reliability, and deployment.
The workshop addresses HTS technologies across a broad range of application domains, including superconducting motors, fusion systems, large-scale research infrastructures (such as accelerators and other big-science facilities), superconducting cables, medical technologies, HTS protection strategies, and electric power systems. Contributions span component-level developments, system integration, and operational experience, from both research and industrial perspectives.
HTS 2026 features invited and contributed oral and poster presentations, providing a focused forum for in-depth technical exchange within the international HTS and cryogenics community.
